What it is
The Biltong Knife Experience is a one-day, guided knifemaking session built specifically for groups — corporate team days, friend groups, bachelor/bachelorette-style outings, or a standout gift experience. Every participant is guided step by step through building their own knife, with Andre and Miguel Hetzel on hand throughout so no one is left stuck at a station.
Unlike the multi-day courses, this experience is designed to be approachable in a single day for people with zero knifemaking background — the focus is on a fun, hands-on shared experience with a genuinely useful, personal result at the end: a knife built for slicing biltong, droëwors, and everything else on the board.
